Native to the northeast coast of New South Wales, Australia, Tea Tree Oil tree has been used by Aboriginal tribes for hundreds of years.

The tree is relatively small and is one of more than 50 different members of the Melaleuca genus, but the list of uses for the essential oil is quite long. Tea tree oil is obtained by steam distillation of the leaves. It contains over 70 compounds including several terpenes such as:Tea Tree Oil Tree
