tea tree oil

tips for using tea tree oil

Here are a few examples of different ways to use tea tree oil

A small bottle of Nambucca Tea Tree Oil should always be included in your travel first aid kit when going to warmer regions in the event of sunburn. When applied in time, it can bring immediate pain relief, and prevent reddening and blistering. Repeat this treatment as often as necessary.

First aid for sunburn:

Bath:

Oftentimes, a bath with eight to ten drops of Nambucca Tea Tree Oil can be soothing.

Lotion:
Mix 100 milliliters of olive, almond, or avocado oil (from your pharmacy) with 20 drops of pure Nambucca Tea Tree Oil. Store in dark bottle, and shake well before use. Apply several times throughout the day on affected areas.

Or:
Mix distilled water (from your pharmacy) with Nambucca Tea Tree Oil (concentration: twelve drops of Nambucca Tea Tree Oil to one tablespoon distilled water), and apply this mixture to the affected areas. Repeat treatment several times throughout the day until your conditions improves.

Direct Application:

In cases of severe sunburn, apply a few drops of Nambucca Tea Tree Oil directly to the affected area. The pain will vanish almost immediately, and blistering of skin will be prevented.
