These inflammations caused by the staphylococcus bacteria can result in nodules ranging from 8 to 30 millimeters in diameter. Most are located on the face, neck, breast or buttocks. Multiple boils or clusters are called carbuncles. Generally developing more slowly than a single boil, carbuncles tend to cover a broader area of the skin and the infection may extend deeper into the skin tissues. They may cause a fever and even temporary disability. If fever is present, consult your physician immediately.

RECOMMENDED USE

Clean the area with Soap. A warm washcloth should be held to the area for a couple of minutes. Follow with straight Nambucca Tea Tree Oil to the infected area, every 2 hours, for one week. See a physician, if no improvement is visible after 3 days.
